Aaron Gang is a people person. More than anything, he loves getting to know people and watching them come alive as ideas are shared and connections are made. For Aaron, it’s all about the other person (and sharing what he loves with them, too, like music and art.)
Aaron is a Chicago native. After a stint away for Degrees in Theatre and English at Truman State in Missouri, he came back to Chicago to attend UIC for a masters in English and a certification in Education - and to do Improv. He is a graduate of the Second City conservatory program and of the IO training program.
Photography, you ask?! Why, yes, of course. It was through his experiences with actors that he saw a need for a new and shiny actor photographer way back in 1998, when times were simpler and headshots were black and white and shot on film!
Aaron has always had a love of photography and of photographing people. He took every single photo class in high school and was editor of the school newspaper. All through undergrad and graduate school, he continued taking photography classes.
Additionally, Aaron is deeply involved in The Mankind Project, a mens organization dedicated to changing the world for the better one and at a time: helping support men become conscious of their behavior and make changes for the better. He also volunteers with Flashes of Hope, offering free portraits to children fighting cancer and their families, and does more volunteer work with Canine Therapy Corps, an organization helping to train and bring therapy dogs where they can do the most good.
Aaron is most proud of his finest creation, his lovely daughter Zoe, with whom he is complete.
